A little pearl found in the Bavarian forest for dinner. Small menu, differently very tasty regional food, upscale Bavarian rustic atmosphere mixed with (antique) style. In the Wirtshaus Raum you can imagine spending a relaxing evening in a large group. Thanks to Corona, of course, a bit quiet at the moment. Cordial innkeeper with style and style, just as you would like in Bavaria. Our three (!) Children also felt very welcome and understood. Wonderful natural garden with individually distributed tables. We'll be back for sure.

The restaurant offers very tasty dishes. The people here are friendly and courteous. Our room was nicely furnished, with everything you could want as a guest. If we didn't live so far away we would be here often.

Cozy beer garden, very nice and rustic and very good food

Nice setting, feels really authentic with a bit of charm. Food was good and well presented. Good prices we thought. The host could have been a little more friendly but nothing negative at all. Definitly qualifies for very good. The are doesn't have a lot of options and if you are in the area for a few days then this would be worth a visit. But don't drive 30 mins for it.

Probably the best meal during our visit to the Bavarian Forest was in this small guesthouse and restaurant. In a beautifully restored old tavern, the landlords serve dishes for which the landlord / cook relies on ingredients from the region. He prepares classic Bavarian dishes and specialties, everything with its own touch and a lot of quality awareness. Which also means that the menu is not particularly large - which I have learned to appreciate for a long time as an indication of the quality awareness of the respective chef. On the first visit there was a beef broth with strips of wild herbs and pancakes, a poem. Then a coachman goulash with excellent beef and a perfectly balanced, strong, but not too heavy sauce, which supports the aromas of the meat unobtrusively, but with enriching nuances. In addition, a sliced ​​turkey with fresh asparagus surprised - a rather unusual combination, but very pleasant. If you add the extremely nice service from the landlady, then we had a perfect dinner. This was also confirmed on the second visit. Delicately spicy glass meat, served with onions and salad, then on the one hand a well-made browned meat loaf and a perfectly roasted rump steak from local beef, both with crispy roasted potatoes - a little more the basics, but also of excellent quality and preparation. The Säumerpfad host lutes also have their own herb / berry schnapps - you should definitely try it. And if the description of the food sounds very meat-heavy: There are also vegetarian dishes on the menu.

Very nice inn, both inside and in the beer garden, food also very good, small menu, but there is not just something very ordinary, highly recommended!

In a rustic atmosphere you will be served by a very friendly family business. The dishes are always freshly prepared with ingredients from the region. The menu does not include many, but it does have changing and, without exception, delicious dishes. Whether pork, beef, game or vegetarian - there is something for everyone here. In addition, the restaurant scores with creative ideas, which gives each dish a special taste. The hosts serve the customers themselves and have a friendly word for everyone. Even with special requests, the company is very accommodating and we try to respond to each guest individually. After a two-week stay and many nice evenings on the mule track, I can only recommend this experience.

Just beautiful

A really nice, small hotel with comfortable rooms, really nice host people, a very nice breakfast buffet and very delicious dinner a la 2-course half board menu. Beautiful quaint tavern with fireplace. Lovely !! Highly recommended and we will certainly be back, if we drive into the Bavarian Forest.

Friendly atmosphere, nice service, good food!

The food is very good. Many special little things: dark beer from the clay jug, organic apple spritzer or tea from herbs from the garden as well as spinach nettle dumplings or pearl barley risotto. The potato and chanterelle soup is a hit !!! Unfortunately everything took a bit: meal cards, drinks, food ... But all in all very tasty and a nice atmosphere outside in the garden. Clear recommendation!
